The answer is: A revenue of $8.03 billion, and a profit of $3.06 billion in the first three months only of 2017! Where does this profit come from? Beside virtual games like Farmville, It comes from advertising.

In late 2016 Facebook earned $6.8 billion in ad revenue, $5.7 billion come from mobile ads alone, making 84% of Facebook’s ad revenue.

In 2017, ad revenue exceeded analysts' estimates, with a growth of 53 percent.
