Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg announced earlier his support for the animated images and the possibility of uploading it as a personal post but what was announced today is the launch of a new update to the video player that enables you to watch the clips in a 360 degree.
This update aims to improve the usage of virtual reality glasses, where the user will wear customized glasses with a phone inside, and once you move and rotate your head, the angles of the video will move and rotate too.
Mark Zuckerberg published on his Facebook account: “360 video is a completely new experience because you can move the camera around. This opens new ways of sharing experiences and makes you feel like you're part of what you're watching. It's a step towards even more immersive experiences.”
