How will SEO Change in 2023?

Recently, The Search Engine Journal (SEJ) published their most recent State of SEO study, which included numerous trends and forecasts for 2023. In order to identify the largest difficulties experienced by SEO experts in 2022 and the biggest anticipated changes in SEO for 2023, researchers examined expert opinions and analyzed the most recent statistics.
The past 2 years in SEO were full of challenges so if you want your strategy to be successful in 2023, you need to prepare ahead.
What can you expect in 2023? We at Nascode have gathered what the experts say regarding SEO in 2023.
1.    Machine Learning and AI:
Machine Learning and AI are already being used in various aspects of SEO such as optimizing content, building links, and researching keywords, and will continue to rise in popularity in 2023. Content created by artificial intelligence is being generated, but some people consider it as spam. The only way to keep the human touch and to ensure that your content is received well by your audience is to use the assistant tools of machine learning and AI.
2.    Google Updates:
Google is always updating its algorithm and this causes SEO professionals to follow up on the latest changes     to make sure that their strategies succeed in 2023.
3.    Removing Third-Party Cookies:
Data privacy and challenges in consent management will arise as people opt to remove third-party cookies. Marketers should consider the fact that the nature of cookies will change if they want to create effective marketing strategies, hence they should start the soonest since SEO takes time.
4.    Google Zero-Click Pages:
When searching for anything, search engines offer a lot of information in their search engine result page (SERP) widgets. Thus, half of all searches end without a click, increasing the zero-click searches. This is challenging for marketers as they want to generate organic traffic so they should make sure to avoid keywords that are associated with SERP features and emphasize other SEO areas, like targeting different needs of customers and writing longer keywords. Remember to make your content valuable to your audience as this is what will keep them engaged on the long term.
5.    Talent Competition:
As the competition increases, its important to guarantee that your team of SEO professionals is always up to date and anticipates the future challenges and opportunities. Writers, content strategists, developers and UX designers must collaborate to make sure that your company remains competitive in 2023.
