This is why LinkedIn is working hard to send you less email!

After receiving the huge amount of emails sent by LinkedIn, the company has decided to send reduce the number in order to emphasize the quality.

LinkedIn added a new tool called Air Traffic Controller (ATC) designed to serve its users more relevant notifications to what they want to know.

This tool uses algorithms to learn how people use its service, and then sends its notifications accordingly.

Air Traffic Controller (ATC) is described as “a single platform for all communication to our members across LinkedIn, including email, mobile and SMS.”

"We realize that a one-size-fits-all method doesn’t work. We want to give you emails and notifications based on what you prefer, not what’s best for us," said Erica Lockheimer, LinkedIn's director of engineering growth, in ATC's announcement blog.

It is a huge step towards the communication with its users. Have you noticed the difference?
